How amazing, in my research I came across this listing of a film made only 7 months after the abdication- The Romanovs were in captivity/house arrest - under Provisional Government - but the movie was made in Ft.Lee New Jersey. The film had a true Russian connection in a monk named Iliodor who played himself;he had fled to Ft.Lee.Iliodor was a rival of Rasputin's. The movie cost $250,000 and starred a husband and wife team of actors as Nicholas and Alexandra. It was a silent film and may be "a lost film" - or not? Has anyone viewed it?
